Billions of $$$ to be funnelled to MSM. Corporations as people will not be
criticized very much on your radio or tv because the carpet bombing of campaign advertising will be a boon to the media.

1. It used to be, "What's good for GM is good for America."
Soon it will be, "What's good for any company with a market cap over $10 billion is good for you."

2. The media are corporations.....
they are not separate, beyond the fact their advertising profit
is tracked as a separate profit center.

3. Do you think their editorial content might be affected by the fact they're going to
make a killing when selling political ads?

4. It's more about the share price.

As public corporations, MSM companies are all about "maximizing shareholder value." Quarter by quarter, they do everything they can to drive their stock prices up and up.

For corporations in other lines of business, this usually means exploiting workers, avoiding taxes and producing products of minimal quality. While MSM corporations do all of these things, too, they also have the additional leverage of being able to publicly advocate policies that promote their own interests, under the guise of "journalism."

It doesn't require a grand conspiracy of MSM, financial institutions and multinational corporations to destroy democracy. Just an alignment of interests. Stock price (and the underlying system it represents) is the mechanism by which that alignment works.
