And they want to be considered a "grass roots" organization?

This sort of spending raises a lot of questions with me as to where all their money is coming from.

1. According to reports, they've got an anonymous donor lined up to foot the bill.
They're not going to be paying for it out of their general funds.

2. The donor MUST be revealed
This is political action.

Failure to disclose means they could be fined in excess of the cost.

3. But I thought CBS had a policy against "advocacy ads"?
At least that's what they said when MoveOn or somebody wanted to put on an anti bush ad a few years back.

Tebow's a brain dead jesusbot without the instincts to make it as an NFL front line QB. This ad may be his last appearance at a super bowl.

Favre he ain't.

4. I think he may have just knocked off a zero or two from his first NFL contract.

5. Tebow may be in bed with rightwingers
without realizing the longterm negative consequences of that association.

Remember he is a gifted athlete, he has the natural instinct and brawn of a football player, but not necessarily the brains of an intellectual or rational thinking person. And he has been influenced by his parents as a product of their home-schooling.

OTOH the city of Gainesville, FL, where UF and the Gators are located, it is one of the more tolerant and progressive cities in Florida. The Civic Media Center <https://www.civicmediacenter.org/> is a bastion of leftwing resources there. You won't find the kind of rednecks and rightwingers there as they are more common in other areas of Florida.

As a male, I think it would be counterproductive to attack Tebow for this one sin against liberal thinking, he is an obvious tool for these right-to-lifers to use, just like Elian Gonzalez was once kidnapped and used by some phoney foster parents in Miami, for their own political agenda, but fortunately Pres. Clinton and AG Reno straightened that sorry bunch up and put the Cuban emigre-fascists in their place.

However, any female would have every right to criticize Tebow for his ignorant viewpoint and maybe CBS will pay a price for it, too.

Tebow is still young and has a lot of learning in life to do. I hope he doesn't continue his association with the rightwing, though. It's bad for the NFL image, just think about what would have happened if the fascist talk show host Rush Limbaugh would have been allowed to be an owner of the St. Louis Rams.

6. I just hope mainstream Protestant churches finally wake up and smell the mocha java
and kick FOF out when they come panhandling and hitting up churches for support.

10. What 's the NFL saying?
Do any of the players on his team have the legal right within their contract to object to this airing during the Super Bowl, or any game for that matter?

Do you know if he's in uniform in the ad?
Personally I'm outraged by this being shown during the SB.
Is this decision to show it a final one?
Thanks for your post.

8. Wait wasn't there an ad a couple years ago that was rejected by the network for being too liberal?
