Routine Federal Building Security caught the Freepers Four
The right is going to try to spin it that these guys were set up. Nothing could be further from the truth. Anyone who has dealt with federal security standards knows that key control to telephone switch closets is controlled and anyone entering have to provide credentials and the name of who sponsored them into the building. Since nobody called the telephone company, there was no sponsor. All this would raise serious red flags even to the most inept security or building custodian or any federal employee in the building from the janitor to the Senator. We all know freepers are not too bright, and these guys do nothing to disprove that fact.

2. I'd like to know how these little pricks got through security at the building ENTRANCE
I'm a retired Fed who used to work in a Federal building where you could not enter without going through a metal detector and showing your ID to the front desk guard. If you did not work in the building, you had to get a visitor pass. You also had to provide the name, room, and phone number of the person you were there to see, and the guard contacted them to verify you were legit.

4. I thought it was highly suspicious because of the number of telephone workers
who showed up.

7. Maybe someone on the inside 'slipped' them in,
anything's possible. If this conspiracy goes beyond these four then it's quite possible the 'connections' run far and wide and deep.

Chilling.
