2. I'm using the fact that he wasn't afraid to prosecute criminals
at one time.

8. So you're saying he's good, but
you just don't like what he's doing? How does that fit with "Change my ass?"

You're simply rehashing the same crap and none of it makes sense in context.

9. I'm saying that he changed from someone who used to prosecute criminals
to someone who refuses to prosecute criminals if they were part of the Bush Administration. Thus, no change from the Bush Administration.

18. Is that the new word?
I've seen so many people called bitter here the last few days by just a few different people.

I find that funny.

10. I've finally figured out what he meant by "change you can believe in."
It meant, "you can believe that I will change from the way I say I will govern ("Yeah, I don't do cowering." Remember that quote?) into governing as someone who compromises away all the progressive ideals in order to be "bipartisan." (doing cowering).

23. Don't forget Arne Duncan.
The privatizer, union-buster, and corporate stooge who has never taught a student, and who is happy to move the destructive corporate education agenda forward.

24. You forgot Arne Duncan

CHICAGO -- Soon after Arne Duncan left his job as schools chief here to become one of the most powerful U.S. education secretaries ever, his former students sat for federal achievement tests. This month, the mathematics report card was delivered: Chicago trailed several cities in performance and progress made over six years.

~

"There's been this rhetoric about dramatic gains, dramatic success, that we have to replicate this model because of its dramatic success," said Julie Woestehoff of the advocacy group Parents United for Responsible Education. "And here in Chicago, we're looking at these schools and going, 'Uh . . . ' "
