The Senate Judiciary Committee has scheduled a “Executive Business Meeting” for January 28, 2010. Last week the GOP used its option to hold over both of these nominations but is not likely to get away with it this week.

  • James A. Wynn, Jr., to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit
  • Albert Diaz, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit

    4. What possible evidence is their that this process has any connection to the DLC?
Did you mean to post that in a different thread?

    5. Not At All... Right Thread... Just Totally Fed Up & Have Been Fooled For
much too long! Don't need a long "copied" list of Obama's accomplishments, seen that already. Don't need a lecture, won't argue back and forth... just FED UP!

Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see! Kind of sums it up... lost my faith I guess!

    6. I get that you dislike (or hate) Obama but these judges affect people
personally in the cases they decide. It will be good to have them in place.

    8. Perhaps you should research the judges.
    I know I am.

    9. So it was an emotional response? Not that I blame you but...
still, I think it is good to acknowledge good work and not so good work, and in the case of individual health insurance mandates, really bad work. To do that you have to work through the emotions prior to the analysis.

    11. Amazing How Anything Positive Gets Hijacked By Trolls
Sonia Sotomayor offered the most forceful criticism of corporate first amendment rights, but that is conveniently ignored by the trolls.

    10. Talk about a knee-jerk reaction. Do you have the slightest bit of evidence for this claim?
