Here's a funny one about Teabuggergate, RICO would apply |
|
Four guys so it's a definite conspiracy and no profit needs to be demonstrated by the prosecution for RICO to apply.
Man, they could stack so many charges these assholes could be looking at two centuries!
And there's no possibility for parole at the federal level, so in order to keep charges from being stacked, they have to sing.
Furthermore if it wasn't evident before, there have been no photos of Flanagan with the other three. This suggests Flanagan is singing his ass off (probably instigated by his father).
If others are involved, it's coming out. These assholes will not want to spend the rest of their natural lives in prison and no way does the rightwing noise machine even attempt to come to their rescue.

4. My, how the tide can turn. |

The joy of the right wing from the ACORN tapes, yet no criminal charges. Now the sorrow of explaining the stupidity of their heros.

Mr. O'Keefe would face charges under US Code Title 18, section 2:
18 USC Sec. 2 01/08/2008 EXPCITE
TITLE 18 - CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE PART I - CRIMES CHAPTER 1 - GENERAL PROVISIONS HEAD
Sec. 2. Principals
(a) Whoever commits an offense against the United States or aids, abets, counsels, commands, induces or procures its commission, is punishable as a principal.
(b) Whoever willfully causes an act to be done which if directly performed by him or another would be an offense against the United States, is punishable as a principal.
