What the freepers are saying about the arrest
Yes, I ventured over there. I found one thread about 50 threads down. Here's part of it.

...........................
Y’know, I’m not sure what the real story is on this deal. I’m reliably told that O’Keefe and his crew are a VERY sharp group. A friend of mine is Flanagan’s boss at a conservative think tank based out of New Orleans, and he tells me Flanagan is a very straight-shooting kid. And O’Keefe did a seminar in New Orleans on Thursday on “citizen journalism.” Four days later this thing goes down.

Obviously he thought he had something on Landrieu. Obviously he knows more than any of us know; otherwise he wouldn’t have come out of jail looking like a Cheshire cat. On the surface these guys look like boobs, but that isn’t O’Keefe’s MO from what I can tell.

This is going to be a VERY interesting next few weeks. That seems obvious.

O’Keefe was a nitwit. The Democrats, not to mention ACORN, are going to play this for all it’s worth. His motives won’t mean anything.

It depends on what he’s got. If he ends up with some dirt on Landrieu or some sort of story to tell, then he’s crazy like a fox.

If he doesn’t have anything, then he’s likely kaput.

That is a Senator’s office they were screwing around in, not an ACORN storefront. Also as this is Louisiana they would have to have Landrieu on film selling H-Bomb secrets or equivalent to do any good.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s the key. That’s also why LA rats are going full-out: they have no idea what’s about to happen to them. Literally, they DON’T KNOW. But they know what all COULD be aired.

Gov. Jindal hasn’t been solicited for comment, I see. Hmm.

If things are as they appear and these fellows were attempting to bug the office of a US Senator, they should be thrown in the pen. There are only about a million charges they could (and should) be facing. And the fact that one’s father is a US Attorney only makes it worse. If the shoe were on the other foot, imagine the justifiable outrage that would ensue.

I’m with you, I think O’Keefe’s sitting on something explosive (no underbomber pun intended) and today’s events are actually part of his setup plan. Something too weird about all of this. Have a feeling Landrieu’s very nervous right now.

James seems too smart to have blunder into a trap like this or at least I hope so. The other kids’s dad is a US attorney. I sure hope they knew what they were doing. James had to know that Obama goons were watching him and just waiting to set him up.

So let me get this straight. O'Keefe had connections from the OBAMA Whitehouse to bug Landrieu's office?

I'm a little slow on the uptake here. Could a liberal enlighten us all (I pray for the shining light of omniscience)

8. At least there are a few sensible freepers there. The rest are
just what you'd expect. A crime is committed in a US Senator's office and they are certain there has to be some good reason for it.

As the one freeper tried to point out 'imagine if a few liberal kids were caught doing that in a Republican Senator's office'. They would be calling for them to be sent to Guantanamo.

I can't believe they think O'Keefe, who has been an utter 'boob' as someone said, in everything he's ever done, is 'smart'. If that's their standard of 'smart' we don't have much to worry about.

For example, O'Keefe made a complete fool of himself when he told Rove and Hannity about the ACORN worker who had 'killed her husband'. She was messing with him, but he never reported that 'murder'. When Hannity asked if they had, the idiot O'Keefe said they had had 'so much other stuff going on but they'd get around to it'. Now, that was the whole basis of their claims against ACORN, that they had not reported criminal activity (which it turned out they had) and there they were, Breitbart, Rove, Hannity and O'Keefe admitting to NOT having reported a murder.

And they believed her, without checking because I guess, that's what those minority people do! Well, there WAS no murder, they were punked. But the media never bothered to report it.

O'Keefe is a first class idiot at best, and that's being kind.

Yes, that is what the FBI does, they set people up.

They set-up drug dealers, they set-up terrorists and they set-up crooked politicians.

And after these people are set-up by the FBI, they are sent to prison.

18. The Fools Think O'Keefe Has The Goods On Landrieu???
Even if he caught her talking about selling the country to the Chinese the fact this information was gathered illegally...very illegally mean what they gathered will never see the light of day other than to be used to convict them. O'Keefe isn't the NSA...he's a punk ratfucker who read too many of his press clippings and thought he could get away with this stunt.

Somehow I get a feeling O'Keefe was the 800 pound gorilla here...encouraging and enabling the others to go along...and I suspect we'll see some serious heat come on him, as well as an effort to flip one, if not all of his co-conspirators. Facing 10 years in the joint...especially when you're that young is like an eternity...plea bargaining should be very interesting and reveal the whole charade.

We're not dealing with some small town DA, this case is sure to be turned over to the best Federal prosecutors...and if you haven't seen these people work, they're the best of the best. No way to buy his way out of this.

Some of the shitstains claim he was "framed"...there's the pot calling the kettle black. Doesn't matter, a FEDERAL crime is involved here with the perps caught red-handed in the act. Could be someone dropped a dime on them...and if it was one of their "friends", just makes this case more interesting and fun.

You can't fight city hall? Well you really can't fight the Federales. A US Attorney has roughly an unlimited budget and unlimited time to take you down. Once you're in their sights, they can take everything you've ever done and find something to get you on. Unless these guys can hire lawyers with serious chops, they are screwed. Want a comparison? martha Stewart, a billionaire, ended up pleading out, not to the crime she was originally accused of, but simply because she thought she could beat them.

26. O'keefe is not a fool,
really. O'Keefe got caught breaking and entering into a US senator's office and is facing several felony charges. If this thug and his posse are not fools, what are they? It is my understanding they got caught before they were able to place their bugging devices on Landrieu's phone. What makes the freepers think he got the goods on Landrieu? Let's just say there was something explosive to gain from breaking into her office. So what, they would still own felonies. But of course the MSM would sweep that part of the story under the carpet for the bigger story. They would end up walking. The security guard that discovered the Watergate break in wasn't so lucky. From that point on his life was shattered.

Amateur field engineers.

You don’t need to expose yourself like this to listen in on phone calls or bug an office.

I’d have sent a few nice trojan horse devices in via mail....
They would not have been smart enough to figure it out...not in Landrieu’s office.

After all, the FBI is working for President Zero...maybe a certain FBI agent wants a promotion. A frame up of O’Keefe would certainly advance a personal agenda.
