Yes, plaster them up and lets see what a true right wing nut looks like in his mug shot, also, the republican party should be investigated for any help or links they may have had with the failed criminals.

How high did this operation go??

2. I wondered the same thing...
How high did this operation go??

FOX News is mentioning ACORN every chance it gets when reporting on O'Keefe and his involvement with this criminal activity. Why? Why does FOX assume breaking into Sen. Landrieu's office to place a wiretap has something to do with ACORN?

Maybe O'Keefe was being paid to plant the bug. If so, by whom? And why?

7. Not to mention his "the Dems bugged my office!" accusation in 1986
1986 William Clements, Jr. gubernatorial campaign
In 1986, Rove helped Clements become governor a second time. In a strategy memo Rove wrote for his client prior to the race, now among Clements's papers in the Texas A&M University library, Rove quoted Napoleon: "The whole art of war consists in a well-reasoned and extremely circumspect defensive, followed by rapid and audacious attack."

In 1986, just before a crucial debate in campaign, Rove claimed that his office had been bugged by Democrats. The police and FBI investigated and discovered that the bug's battery was so small that it needed to be changed every few hours, and the investigation was dropped.<18> Critics, including other Republican operatives, suspected Rove had bugged his own office to garner sympathy votes in the close governor's race.<19>

9. And I also think Rove set up Dan Rather. That one worked, but it should not have.
It just proves that Rather is not all that smart.

5. Someone else reminded me that Ailes is an old Nixon henchman.
Maybe he was pining for the glory days and could not resist running a dirty tricks operation? Anyone heard from Chuck Colson or G. Gordon Liddy lately?

8. They got out of jail on a fast track, with only a personal bond.
Edited on Wed Jan-27-10 11:39 AM by TexasObserver
Someone wanted them sprung in a hurry, and since one of them is the son of the acting US attorney for the Western district, it's likely the elder Flanagan helped. Someone called the old criminal defense attorney who got them out ASAP. He says he doesn't know who is paying him. That's probably true. He likely got the call from the Prosecutor or someone tied to him, and jumped on it to get the perps out.

If they had been arrested for a gram of crack, they'd still be jail.

10. Think they would have gotten out so fast if one of them were named Hussein?

11. If they were booked they had mugshots. If they were released on bond...
they were booked.

My question stands: Why haven't the mugshots been released?

12. Best guess is that Daddy Flanagan is keeping the photos out of media.
