Another take on the wire tapping. |
|
Recently some folks got arrested for trying to wire tap a US senator's office.
Everyone's all on the side of the Senator, and in this case they are probably right.
But I think it's funny that our government is wiretapping probably the whole of domestic electronic communications, including phone, cell, and internet communications, with impunity, but when the people try and spy on their government, suddenly the shit hits the fan.
I have long thought that this domestic surveillance would ultimately hit the fan when someone hacks it and uses it to reveal government information.
The first time Great Britain's pervasive camera system shows a member of parliament propositioning a hooker that will be the end of the cameras.

2. The citizenry using technology that the government is using against the citzenry. |
|
I'm talking about the irony of the citizenry using the same technology to do to the government what the government is doing to the citizenry.

5. Criminals = Government??? |
|
My point here is that the citizenry is going to use the same tools the government uses on it's people. When the government does it, it's OK, but when the citizens do it, it will be criminal.
