Office Freeper claims phone Pimp and friends just 'pranking' no big deal
I walked straight to his desk and asked how this little pimp was going to handle jail as a skinny white boy.

Quote
No big deal, they'll get off with a slap on the wrist, nobody goes to jail for wearing bad clothes or visiting a Senator's office, you Libs are just blowing this out of proportion.".

The part about bad clothes cracked me up, I had to just walk away.

2. Perhaps he should be willing to do the same to prove his point
Maybe we should encourage all Freepers onto taking on the FEDs to prove their point. After all, they will just get a slap on the wrist, right? :eyes:

5. nobody goes to jail for wearing bad clothes or visiting a Senator's office
But people do go to prison for committing espionage (listening devices found) and conspiracy to commit espionage.

26. Would be interesting to know his thought if someone 'pranking' burned down his house
or his car. Hilarious! If it's a prank it's legal.

8. I also heard that -
the people on the news said it was just a prank. So if we walk into say rush's office dressed as a telephone repair man, take the phone, unscrew it and then get asked for ID, we can say OH OH OH this is a prank and expect to walk out...hell try it somebody.

18. Pulled this comment off a local blog...
"It is a crime to enter a Federal Building with the intent to modify and attach surveillance devices to federally operated telecommunications equipment. As a former Fortune 500 and County Communications Manager I can tell you these boys could have had access to EVERY Federal communications line. DEA, FBI, ATF, ICE, IRS, US Attorney (irony there), et al - in short EVERY connection that would have enabled a significant reduction in the State and the Country's ability to protect you and me. This is a serious breach, by definition a felony, but could be prosecuted under the Patriot Act. One kid's father is an Attorney. He obviously imbued his child with a sense of right and wrong, huh?

If this entry happened on MY watch, every system, every phone, every record could have been destroyed by accident or design. This is no prank but a serious attack upon the integrity of Mdme. Landrieu's office, her staff, and the Federal Government. Imagine what a drug cartel an now consider? What a stupid thing to do in a time of war. Hmmm, treasonous on its face? As a retired Comm Manager those are the first suppositions I make about these yahoos."

20. Reality bites.
Whatever were these stupid people thinking? What they did is criminal and they should be fully prosecuted, ironically enough, under their beloved Bush's Patriot Act.

22. And I'm sure he would say exactly the same thing...
...if 4 left-leaning activists were caught in Senator David Vitter's phone cabinet, messing around, and one of them was 2 blocks away in a car with a listening device...

Sure, bud, I'm sure that's exactly how you would respond then.
