29. Criminals, pranksters, or operatives?
This is a sad state of affairs, when no one seems to be honing in on the real problem.
This was an Elected official, wire tapped. Why are these buffoons out on bail? Why are they not in jail isolation while the appropriate agency is confiscating computers, cell phones, bank account records and all possible leads to find out what subversive organizations they are connected with, and what other tapping's have been accomplished that we do not know about. Am I the only person that sees this as a National Security issue?

The one where the junior members of the crew hear about how Tony Soprano and Jackie Aprillo made there way to being made men by robbing some big wise guy.

They decide they're gonna do the same thing and rob a poker game run by Tony's crew.

They all ended up dead, IIRC.

NBC: Landrieu Plot Aimed To Test Sen's Response To Disabled Phone System

The Landrieu Phone Case: Not A Bugging After All?

-snip
The origins of the "bugging" meme appears to be the article that broke the news of the charge, published on the Web site of the Times-Picayune yesterday. It originally began: "The FBI, alleging a plot to wiretap Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu's office in downtown New Orleans, arrested four people Monday ... "

It has now been edited to read, "Alleging a plot to tamper with phones in Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu's office in ... "

The Washington Post used similar phrasing and has since corrected its piece.

-snip
http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/01/the_landrieu_phone_case_not_a_bugging_after_all.php#more

I WAS SURPRISED TO HEAR MICHELLE BERNARD ON TWEETY REFER TO THESE "BOYS" AND SUGGEST JUST A FINE WAS IN ORDER. MADE ME THINK SOMEONE IS OUT TO CLEAN UP THIS MESS. LOOKS LIKE EITHER THOSE HIGH POWERED ATTORNEYS OR FLANAGAN'S FEDERAL PROSECUTOR DADDY IS HELPING TO SWEEP THIS UNDER THE PROVERBIAL RUG. DID WE REALLY THINK THERE WOULD BE JUSTICE FOR GOP OPERATIVES?
