7. I'm planning to watch tonight with the hope that the President is
angry and shows it. I hope he energizes the country to take some kind of action against their representatives in Washington in order for things to start to improve. I want him to show us that it is not a case of him backing off on so much, rather that it is a case of him hitting a republican barn door, no matter what he does.

I am disappointed in him but I think it is because he is coming across as an "OK, if you say so" man. I want him to start banging heads.

We're all in such a mess now, how much worse can it be if he lets loose on the rethugs?

Keep his dignity but say what has to be said. No more of the talk about rather be a good one-term President than a mediocre two-term President. That really sounded like a give up kind of statement.

But we can't stop there. It's time to require lobbyists to disclose each contact they make on behalf of a client with my Administration or Congress. And it's time to put strict limits on the contributions that lobbyists give to candidates for federal office. Last week, the Supreme Court reversed a century of law to open the floodgates for special interests — including foreign corporations — to spend without limit in our elections. Well I don't think American elections should be bankrolled by America's most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities. They should be decided by the American people, and that's why I'm urging Democrats and Republicans to pass a bill that helps to right this wrong.

there ya go!
