1. Very relaxed, confident, authentic. The Republicans are hating it, just hating it.
And he's able to use his sense of humor to loosen even old brown britches Boner...

5. I know, right? I mean, it's the same old fluffy BS.

None of it means anything until there are tangible results. So far, this is just a re-hashing of stuff we've already heard.

The $30 Billion for small community credit is good. I'm sure there will be a couple of good things here but until it happens, it's more of the same on old promise game.

6. None of my community banks were ever in trouble.
Edited on Wed Jan-27-10 09:32 PM by shadowknows69
They were advertising small business loans on marquees while the ones "Too big to fail" were being handed billioins. This is BS. It will line the pockets of some CFO somewhere.

7. Our local community banks are doing just fine also - and making loans. In fact, I believe
that if it weren't for community banks, a lot more businesses would be shuttered.

4. Sorry, but I can't be proud until actions produce the results he talks about.
Edited on Wed Jan-27-10 09:27 PM by Kablooie
Up to now that hasn't been the case.
