This SOTU is targeted to leaning Republicans. |
|
Anyone else seeing what is happening? Instead of appealing to the Progressive Base it seems obvious he has decided to try and pick up support amongst the center-right.
All good in trying to gain share, I understand, but by endorsing globalist, semi conservative ideology and trying to "rebrand" them, we just go further down the same path and our country suffers. This is a big mistake.
I don't want more charisma an tough talk if the policies are based on the same ideas that we have wreaked devistation on our country for close to 30 years?
I hope this is indeed just a "game play" of some kind.
If we really move to the right and the party follows in this I am out of the party. I will be paying attention.
