He's SO damned inspiring...

is it idiotic to believe him? I know I want to... and part of me does... and anther part, more a cynical part, thinks that in the so-called "real world", all that he is inspiring will dissipate like a whisp a candle flame.

What do you think?

4. why isn't anyone paying attention to the policies that were expounded?
It was charismatic and pointed, but it also was an appeal to the (R) with lots of positive framing for their ideologies

3. I believe him- as for whether it will happen, that depends on everyone
not just him. He's not the messiah, he's the president. He can lead, but it's up to all of us to make it work-

Cynicism doesn't ever really improve anything does it? It's easy to fall into, but hell to get out of.

Without hope, would any of us do anything?

I'm choosing hope, not blindly, but cautiously because to turn away, to let cynicism win, is guaranteed failure.
