So, the pundits are so anti-democrat because they are .... |
|
wealthy?
They don't want anything to upset the status quo because they are the status quo?
Especially the cable pundits. Each and everyone of them is a cottage industry in and of itself. They have some kind of show, they write books that they can hawk on the cable shout and point shows...
And they are all connected in someway or another to one of the party's apparatus.
What kind of serious commentary are they going to give?
They can't go into the colleges and universities and more since that is all politicized now.
Aren't there any neutral people out there capable of given a good assessment of a political speech?

2. Try Michael Beschloss... |
|
He often talks on PBS, with Jim Lehrer. He's a presidential historian, and very fair. His analyses of presidential politics are wonderful to behold.
There must be others, and in fact PBS has a couple of others that routinely do commentary on the air, but I don't recall their names.
They were probably all on with Jim tonight, but I didn't get to see them.

Try to catch Amy Goodman or Laura Flanders or Thom Hartman tomorrow. I think they all archive their shows at their sites.
