Or Oxyanalcysts.

Fuck Bipartisanship.

The GOP stands for pure bigotry. We should NEVER seek that taint as Dems.

Never.

3. I think the OP is talking about Obama's meeting with house members at a retreat they are having.

2. I promise you I will NEVER seek a republican taint!
the thought of it makes my skin crawl.

however, like it or not, the jackasses in the gop were elected and in order to govern, people have to work together in some form.

at the same time, democrats have dealt with republican "do-nothingism" for years. I'm sure a lot of people would understand if dems just went on with business.

but, honestly, brain bleach, please, for that idea of seeking republican taint. ugh. really.

5. Why not? He's in the same game they're in.
Distract w/divisive social issues while they (rich fat cats and politicians of both parties) run away with all the money.

Why did any of us, for one second, think this politician would be any different than the others?

9. It's doubtful that Cantor and Boehner have any other motive than to embarrass Obama somehow
at the retreat. Did you see the look on their faces during the SOTU? Cantor was in full mockery mode. Obama has guts to go there and then end up being treated like dirt. As far as them being bigots, I don't doubt that a bit.

10. Oh come on, you don't think he's trying to embarrass them right back?
The only difference is that he's succeeding. They're acting like children and daddy's fixing to scold them.

11. Inviting the person they hate more than anything can't be because they really want to work with him.
It's hard to believe that he will be treated with any respect or courtesy. As you say, his accepting may be a way to embarrass them, but while he is there, I don't see bigots like Bachmann, King, Fox and Cantor being anything but hostile towards him.
