Sometimes I just want to throttle the guy in the control room who peppers the feed with reaction shots of the random audience members. It's OK when the reaction is to a specific person or group, but cut the random shots.

It is even worse during comedy shows; comic tells a joke about Mexicans, cut to the tight shot of the Latino laughing.

My pet peeve for the day.
