3. No, thanks.
HRC is a strong leader but she would have bombed Iran or given Israel permission to do so BY NOW.

No, I don't want any more WAR HAWK Presidents.

17. That wouldn't be possible, since she wasn't embarrased the first time. And support Hillary Clinton's
magnificent 2008 campaign for president was the proudest experience of my life.

5. How can she win the nomination if Obama is there?
Are they implying that she is going to do something nefarious to Obama?

11. How could she run a campaign? Who would do business with her again?
I don't think many folks are going to be eager to offer up their services again after the 2008 clusterfuck of debt.

You wouldn't know it by reading DU, but Obama has over 80% approval rating amongst Democrats. It would be career suicide. Hillary may have once been ambitious, but she's never been stupid. And I think she's the type of woman who would prefer to retire on her own terms.

15. She would never pull a Ted Kennedy.
She would not do that to the party, not that the party deserves any consideration.

19. Exactly- Not to mention consider the timeline
How exactly would that work? From looking at last election, everyone running OFFICIALLY announced in late 2006 or very early 2007. Now, before that they informally explored the idea and started raising money. So, how would it look if Clinton quit next week and it was clear that she was running within 6 months? Given that he gave her a high level position instead of leaving her as a senator too junior to head a full committee, she would really lose the respect that many have for her.

Some here mention Kennedy. Kennedy was not indebted to Carter - and there were substantial policy differences between them. As many have said, the policy differences between HRC and Obama are pretty small - other than that she is more hawkish. Is there room for a challenge from the right even if Obama's popularity declines?
