But when something comes up for us plain folks, suddenly the votes just can't be gotten.
The Senate managed to vote FOR extending the debt ceiling, too.
So we will continue to go into debt and Bernanke will contnue to help rob us blind.

Two votes in a row in which people (liberal and conservative) were all over the place. Disregarding the particular outcomes, I wish we saw more votes like this. I'm so tired of knowing that all 40 (now 41) Republicans will vote "no" on anything.
