I'm reading Jeff Sharlet's book "The Family" guess what's on page 27..

snippet>>>>

And we were called to serve on Tuesday mornings, when the Cedars hosted a regular prayer breakfast hosted by Ed Meese.

He reminds a powerful Washington presence, a quickwitted man who presents himself as an old gumshoe, carrying messages back and forth between social and fiscal conservatives. In 2005 and 2006, he shepherded Supreme Court justices John Roberts and Samuel Alito through their nomination processes.

>>>>>>>>>>>

Are Roberts and Alito members of The Family?

Think we can get attention on The Family for the "Corporations are people too" ruling?

There's already going to be "kill the gay" protesters.......

1. My money says "no". You know that old saying about strange bedfellows?
CAtholics and Evangelicals/Baptists are those strange bedfellows. Once you get past that alliance that conservatives use on both sets of faiths, you'll find that Evangelicals hate Catholics with a blind and raging passion. Catholics are usually too dim or goal-minded to repay the favor.

2. Then why would the family shepard them through the hearings?

I say they're members. Let's bury them!

5. Because "politics make for strange bedfellows." that's why.
I highly doubt you will find them in the family officially or unofficially. Now allied with or affiliated with? Yes.

6. Keep reading.
That Meese played shepherd doesn't mean anything affirmative or negative about their involvement with the family.

The Family takes finesse to a whole new level.
