Notice that all of the whores (Carper, Schumer, The Nelsons, Landrieu, Kohl, etc.) voted "yea"? Disappointed in Leahy and Jim Webb....

1. O.K. so now that he got his precious "bipartisanship"
Maybe everyone can shut the fuck up about it and get down to the business of actually passing legislation that is in the interest of the american people.

4. 2010 elections?
Probably have to stay an Independent, because he knows he certainly won't get the Republican nomination
By voting against Bernanke now, he's hedging his bet that the economic/job situation will be worse and he can say he stood up didn't vote for Bernanke?

11. OT -- I was just going to post about Winograd!
I received an e-mail from her which surprised me, as I live in Seattle. I wrote back to ask about her and against whom she was running. SHE responded to my e-mail personally. All she had to say was she was running against Blue Dog.... (didn't even need to see the name, since I wouldn't have known who it was anyway).

I only glanced at her website as I was just trying to find out WHERE she was located.

How is she doing? Do you think she has a chance? Anything I can do to help??

9. Man - there were as many (if not more) Republicans voting Nay as there were
Dems. How did that happen that there was actually something we agreed upon? I'm serious!
