I googled over to a teabagger site to look at the convention flap, and it was priceless. |
|
Immediately after some scathing Faux-news video linking propaganda claiming President Obama was going to tell the truth to mayors "after the news media" left the room, they then go into a promotion of Failin Palins $100,000 speakers fee dinner at the convention: "The fee for this 3 day event is $549 plus a $9.95 processing fee. This includes the Sarah Palin dinner and the full program, including other meals as listed in the Schedule of Events. More details will follow soon. This is not a free public appearance by Sarah Palin. It is a private dinner event, WITH NO NEWS MEDIA INVITED." So its OK if Palin does it , but just EEEEEVVVIILLL if a democrat supposedly does it.

1. Why do they need a $9.95 processing fee if they are charging $549? |
|
I have never paid a processing fee for a national convention and I have been to a few - with none of them having registration fees anywhere near that much, even 5 day conventions at major hotels where most meals were included. Of course Barbie Doll was not the keynote speaker either.

11. Perhaps they don't trust each other |
|
Maybe 2 separate groups want to get paid, and they think if the fee is collected in 1 go, the one the money goes to first will stiff the other.
Would you trust a teabagger? Well, neither would they. Business is business.

just using a cardboard cutout of her and playing the audio version of her book. Nothing she says will make any sense anyway.

14. This is a for PROFIT political convention. |

I am getting the sense that the Tea Party was cooked with big money up just to protest loudly against HCR and everything they have done once the bill came out of the House has been folks trying to financially gain on that failing movements momentum.
