Can you even imagine Bush having an open, honest dialogue -- on camera, no less -- |
|
with the Dems as Obama is doing now with the Republicans?
He spanked the last questioner for using a 'question' to campaign. He's not rolling over, he's calling them on their shit, taking responsibility for ours, and he's even gotten them to laugh a few times.
Very impressive. Proud to be a Dem.

1. Can you image Bush just having a dialogue that, well, made sense? |
|
seriously - you have to be able to walk before you can run!

12. And a Repub told Luke Russert they made a mistake having it televised |
|
the poor repub's constituents can see for themselves how badly they have been served by their elected officials.
And all of America can see for themselves how they've been taken for a very bad ride by the disinformation the Repubs put out in 2009.
And how difficult the prez has trying to have a dialog with repubs when they use long-winded talking points when they pretend to ask questions.

I'm so pleased you're all cheering whatever Obama just did.
I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

9. Obama went to the Republican retreat in Baltimore |
|
gave a speech and took questions, totally unscripted. He took @ 10 questions from (R) representatives. Many used talking points. Obama just kicked their ass. Especially good was his response to Hensarling, the last question. He called him out on untrue statements then spanked him and the GOP for the tone they set.
