ANyone watching Ratigan and this segment on TARP and the debt ceiling?
On how Russia approached China to try to collude with them to dump all of the housing debt? This is the single best discussion of why we are in the mess with the banks that we are that I've heard to date. WHen it comes up on line I'm e-mailing the link to everyone I know. He has some really good suggestions for the President and he calls the pols on their BS.

1. It was very compelling...
however, Ratigan's verbal delivery is very distracting.

3. I don't care about his verbal delivery. He does have the
ability to frame these economic issues in very succinct and understandable terms for lay people, a noteworthy service to the public.

8. Because it undermines his message, that's why.
Props nearly always backfire.

10. I tend to a visual learner, and I find it helpful sometimes to
have complex issues illustrated. I appreciate that he tries to engage people on many levels on these complex issues.

7. Dylan is the only person on television explaining economics..
and bank bailouts, etc, so that the common person can understand it. He is doing a great service.

6. Yes - and now no need to read Paulson's book. I probably wouldn't understand
it any way, so I'm appreciative of Ratigan's explanation.

Biden frequently said China owns the mortgage on our house. I didn't know Russia did, too! :scared:

9. Very timely
Had an e-mail discussion with a friend this morning about the state of the world. I said we're headed towards being a 3rd world country...low-paying service jobs and soon we'll all be working and catering to tourists. I said "What would happen if China & Russia decided to have their way with us militarily?" and that I think we'd be screwed. He said "No way, NEVER". Well, now it looks like they were thisclose to having their way with us financially.

Thanks, greedy asshole bankers and every scumbag politician that made it so easy for them!

16. Here's the MSNBC
link to his site. Looks like there are vidoes there. I checked Itunes to see if he had a pod cast but he doesn't.
