On this day, the eve of the State of the Union address by our first black President, it should give us pause to remember that hate has a name.

April Gaede, White National, is not a bold headline that screams HATE, but it should be. She's been a busy woman, recently creating a website for White Nationals (read: white supremacists) who want to find others like themselves to marry. Stormfront.org, the big old white supremacist forum is where you can find her. A matchmaker made in Neo Nazi heaven? Here's what she has to say about her important matching-making work:

“I am willing to act as a go between, researcher, matchmaker, older sister and guide for any WNs who are looking for a WN spouse...Only email me if you are serious about finding a spouse or long term partner....I have racial contacts throughout the US as well as the world…I am planning to create a more secure and successful way for WNs (white nationals) to meet by creating a screening process, starting with a questionnaire.”

Best known as the mother of the twin daughters famous as a white power singing duo called Prussian Blue, the girls, Lynx and Lamb no longer perform. They typically sang to groups of other white nationals, rocking the house with their catchy lyrics from albums like fatherland, and blond hair, blue eyes, and finishing with a Hitler salute. They never got a gig on American Idol, but they did perform at Alliance and Holocaust-denial events.

As the girls get older they are reported to be distancing themselves from their fanatical mother. While they don't perform these days, both still are comfortable with their white supremacy upbringing. That doesn't mean they don't have tiny little charitable hearts for those in need. They donated goods for Katrina victims with the provision that the supplies only go to white folk. Eventually the donations ended up in a Confederate shop because there were few takers.

April and her daughters didn't get this way all on their own. Apparently Gaede’s father, who lives on a ranch in Fresno, CA, is a way back White National type of guy. This man, who branded his horses with swastikas, taught April to hate with a vengeance. He also taught her that women are meant to serve men. And he encouraged her to move to Montana with her new husband because Bakersfield was not white enough. This video, if you have the stomach for it, demonstrates that hate is alive and well, and living in the heartland of California.

3. The heartland of California, the inland Empire, Parts of San Diego and Orange counties...

The far North of California, etc....White Nationalism is alive and kicking in California. There is a stereotype about California as this Eden of liberalism and tolerance, but that does not apply throughout the state. You have got Los Angeles, parts of San Diego, and the Bay Area which are more liberal. Fortunately they are the most populous parts of the State and the demographics of California are leaning more towards minorities, but... we have our large share of racist hate groups here in the Golden State.

In LA and the Bay Area, sure there's mostly liberals.

But in less populous parts of the state...well most of California's counties are red.

Arcata and parts of Eureka are pretty liberal, though other parts of the county are pretty scary. As I said in my response. California can usually be counted on as a Blue state, but we have a big share of White Supremacists.

there will always be people like her out there, it will be repeated again and again. To bad they are poisoning children. There is hope for the children as they get older and learn that that there is more out there in the world than their mother.

19. check this documentary streaming online about Prussian Blue

called "Nazi Pop Twins". the twins are a bit older in this and you get the impression the mother, April, is pushing them to do this white power schtick and they might be getting tired of it, or not. the documentarian follows them around over a period time. it's interesting. check it out.

It's estimated that almost 3 million Jews living in Poland were killed by the Germans during World War II. But that wasn't the end of their ordeal. After the war, the murders of Jews continued, committed not by Germans, but by Polish nationalists who shot, stoned and beat them to death.

In Marek Jan Chodakiewicz's view, this killing of Jewish survivors returning to their homeland probably wasn't anti-Semitism. In his opinion, many Jews did things, such as collaborating with Soviet Communists who occupied eastern Poland at the start of the war, that provoked the violence. Chodakiewicz argues that Jews were more likely to kill Poles after World War II than vice versa.

These are not views shared widely outside of Chodakiewicz's native Poland, where much anger has been generated in recent years over scholarly dissections of Christian anti-Semitism. Many historians see these opinions as a minimizing of the Holocaust and, in particular, the violent anti-Semitism of many Polish Catholics.

Chodakiewicz (pronounced hod-a-KAY-vich) is no obscure ideologue writing on an Internet hate site, but a history professor and member of the oversight board of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., appointed by President George W. Bush in 2005. The museum has been visited by more than 28 million people since it opened in 1993. In June, long-time neo-Nazi James von Brunn shot and killed security guard Stephen T. Johns at the museum's entrance.
