Mike Pence has a "matter of fact" tone to his voice that I find incredibly off-putting.

I see it as so bad that he'd never work on a national level. I could be totally wrong.

1. His constituents are gullible fools to find anything about him appealing.

5. His constituents are from Indiana.
Much of the people out there (outside of the two large cities) are pretty much fed and believe the right-wing smear machine.

2. I was just about...
to post something on this. He was so damn annoying! We need to watch out, the GOP is priming themselves to take credit for anything that goes well.

3. He's pretty bland
And yet he looks the part of a Senator or above. His days as a talk show host here in Indy did him a lot of good. A lot of Indiana Republican insiders consider him their Great Hope for the future.

I agree that he comes off very self righteous. I think that's because he is.

4. they TEACH that tone. Check out malkin, bachmann, and others,
who have attended the ultraconservative Koch-funded training center for conservative assholes. Seriously, no joke, they train and practice, and get refresher courses.
