Jack Jacobs says there are 50 people in Gitmo
who must never be tried and never be released. He also said Gitmo must never be closed. So what happens if a hurricane or earthquake devastate the base?
Jack Jacobs is a torture-loving, anti-Geneva convention, Pentagon hack.

1. Maybe Jacobs should never be released or tried.

2. Why?
Who would be embarrassed by their trial or release? What would they say if allowed?

5. He is a good example
of the dangers that are posed when "retired" military people are media consultants. He generally comes across as a decent, thoughtful man. Thus, he sugar-coats the Pentagon's agenda, and that influences not only the reporting, but also the public's perception.

It is interesting that the media has no pro-peace consultants, to provide insight on the various situations that the war machine advocates have a platform they can advocate.
