The singer left no doubt about his politics. Striking up a tune in front of a Republican party meeting in Daytona Beach, Florida, he belted out "New York, New York", but changed the lyrics to an anti-Barack Obama diatribe.

"This socialist nightmare/Must come to an end!" sang Lloyd Marcus, decked out in a cowboy hat, pointed cowboy boots and a leather vest. Six elderly white Republicans were hauled to the front of the room and were soon dancing and kicking their legs in the air.

1. Self-humilation
When you make bad lyric changes to iconic songs surrounding by bad dancers, you are a joke.

7. Malcolm X described this brilliantly back in the day...
.
Check out the last coupla sentences (especially pertinent to this man).
.
.
"There was two kind of slaves. There was the house negro
and the field negro. The house negro, they lived in the
house, with master. They dressed pretty good. They ate
good, cause they ate his food, what he left. They lived
in the attic or the basement, but still they lived near
their master, and they loved their master, more than
their master loved himself. They would give their life
to save their masters house quicker than their master
would. The house negro, if the master said "we got a good
house here" the house negro say "yeah, we got a good house
here". Whenever the master would said we, he'd say we.
That's how you can tell a house negro. If the master's
house caught on fire, the house negro would fight harder
to put the blaze out than the master would. If the master
got sick, the house negro would say "What's the matter,
boss, we sick?" We sick! He identified himself with his
master, more than the master identified with himself. And
if you came to the house negro and said "Let's run away,
Let's escape, Let's separate" the house negro would look at
you and say "Man, you crazy. What you mean separate? Where
is there a better house than this? Where can I wear better
clothes than this? Where can I eat better food than this?"
There was that house negro. In those days, he was called a
house n----. And that's what we call him today, because we
still got some house n---- runnin around here. This modern
house negro loves his master. He wants to live near him.
He'll pay three times as much as the house is worth just to
live near his master, and then brag about "I'm the only negro
out here. I'm the only one on my job. I'm the only one in
this school."

Is he to be beholden to a certain standard?
Just because he thinks different and is black don't put a target on his back.
This is ridiculous, whats the point?
So what, hes black at a republican get together, this means he should be ridiculed?
my goodness its one thing to denounce & debate the other sides messed up ideas and opinions but this is fuckin stupid

9. As has been said before, it's like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.
The Republicans only give a fuck about rich, white, protestant men. Minorities and women are only props, because they need their votes to win. It's just weird that some people don't get that.

10. If you saw how he acts, you would understand why
There is a video of him on youtube making an absolute fool out of himself in front of a bunch of teabaggers. He's putting on a minstrel show for people who don't like his kind.

12. I don't know why your freedom of speech doesn't include criticism of this fool
. . . on a discussion board. And, it's much more than just 'he's a black republican'. If you want, we can have a couple page discussion about how I feel about what this cretin is doing. But, I suspect you just want to make your own self-righteous point. Yes, he should be ridiculed . . . not folks who feel compelled to mutter, omfg, in response.
