I'm sick of "social issues" being separated from "economic issues"

I'm sick of "social issues" being separated from "economic issues"
They are forever intertwined.

It's not an accident that a disproportionate number of blacks and Hispanics in America are poor, for example. Or that abortion bans hurt poor single mothers more.

Is health care not both a "social" issue and an "economic" issue? Is the economy doing better and economic equality not tied to better education, safer neighborhoods, and less juvenile delinquency?

Social issues and economic issues may be separated by the pundits, but in my eyes, they are essentially the same.

They are AMERICAN issues.

2. Gotta tell the libertarian righties about that one
They think in terms of freedom from government interference and apply that to both social issues and economic.

The righties want the government in on the social issues and out of the economic.

The left wants the opposite.
