Your kids can be part of the new DC MLK JR Memorial Project.

This project will connect with the nations childrem much like the Penny raising project for the Staue Of Liberty. It's a wonderful idea that will include lessons taught about the history changing life of Martin luther King Jr.

I would hope that the all schools and commmunities would embrace this ambitious and enlightining collaboration.

Check it out and ask your childrem's teachers and administraters if they have it included in their history, social studies, or community good works acedemic schedules.

1. Giant Made in China MLK Statue

The DC MLK memorial will feature a giant statue of MLK made in China. The Vermont congressional delegation protested when the decision was made a couple years ago, saying that Vermont marble and sculptors should have been used.
