Becoming annoyed with TV ads for dating sites and conspicuous consumption ads |
|
for new specialty cell phones, jewelry, furniture, dining out and luxury cars.
All things you can't do without a job!
Note to companies and advertisers: Advertising things that people can't buy won't make them go out and buy them - especially now that credit card companies and banks have crushed consumer borrowing - all you are doing is making them resent you and resent people who use your products. Use that advertising budget to hire a new employee instead.

1. I also get annoyed, because what it tells us is that the rich are still just fine |
|
I'm also becoming increasingly aware of the number of TV shows that focus on a wealthy life-style. I mean, it's like 100% of programming these days! Disgusting.
