So, this commercial is airing on television. It has several different people speaking words first uttered by FDR, ending with "we have nothing to fear but fear itself".
It's a commercial for Allstate Insurance. And, given the present efforts of the insurance industry to subvert attempted reforms, I'm having more than a little trouble picturing FDR speaking on behalf of that industry.
Just sayin'.
