He served on the 9/11 whitewash commission, he's against a woman's right to choose, and he's gotten campaign funds from the likes of Richard Mellon Scaife. Can't the Democratic party do better than Tim fucking Roemer?
BTW, I voted for him three times - holding my nose tightly all the while. Why choose a candidate for a Senate seat whose politics are utterly odious to rank-and-file Democrats?

Even the DNC chair is anti-choice now. :shrug: http://www.cnn.com/2005/ALLPOLITICS/01/16/roemer.dnc/He got very mad when he was running for chair as the choice of congress. He did not like being questioned on his views on women's rights.
