2. As an Indiana resident I agree with this
He served the state well and served the country well when he was a member of the 9/11 Commission.

3. He'd be good but he is our current Ambassador to India and the filing deadline is Friday. Bayh
certainly didn't leave the Dems in Indiana much time. 4 days.

5. Although Roemer voted against NAFTA, he's DLC
He served on the 9/11 whitewash commission, he's against a woman's right to choose, and he's gotten campaign funds from the likes of Richard Mellon Scaife. Can't the Democratic party do better than Tim fucking Roemer?

BTW, I voted for him three times - holding my nose tightly all the while. Why choose a candidate for a Senate seat whose politics are utterly odious to rank-and-file Democrats?

6. Well, he is anti-choice....not that it matters much anymore.
Even the DNC chair is anti-choice now.

He got very mad when he was running for chair as the choice of congress. He did not like being questioned on his views on women's rights.
