"Fiscal conservative" has lost all meaning |
|
Ever since Ronald "Military Industrial Complex" Reagan, deficits have grown incredibly, as has government waste, outsourcing to the private sector, and other forms of corruption and waste.
The Republicans only care about deficit spending when it's used on Americans, not their corporate friends. That's why they were "budget balancing" in the Clinton administration, because there was a Democratic President.
The phrase "fiscal conservative", "small-government conservative," or anything else has lost meaning, and these are now worthless phrases.

2. Fiscal conservative means the following: |
|
"Hello. I will spend like a sixteen-year-old with a platinum credit card on the military and earmarks for my district, but I will not raise taxes. I will, however, complain bitterly about anything that smacks of aiding the poor as "government spending.""
