So NBC is Tape-Delaying the Rest of the Closing Ceremonies for "The Marriage Ref." |
|
At first I was like, this is fucking stupid. But then I heard they were delaying Nickelback...so maybe NBC did the right thing...cuz who wants to hear frickin Nickelback??

NBC has done well with their Olympic coverage but, tonight, it was commercial city, then this stupid new show promotion attempt.

7. That's why they spend the big bucks to cover the Olympics |
|
So they can shove commercials for their insipid shows at us with every commercial break. Yeah, like I wanna watch yet one more version of Special Victims Unit...

I thought the closing ceremonies were quite good. Far better than the 2008 Summer games finale

11. The closing ceremonies are horrendous |
|
I'd rather watch a couple of farmers discussing agricultural stock prices.
Even the freakin' mounties couldn't march in unison.
I hope Russia does a better job of hosting the Olympics than Canada did.
Oh, who am I kidding? The Winter Olympics would've been better off being held in Las Vegas, even. Snow had to be shipped in to Vancouver, anyway, and at least Vegas could put on a helluva show for the opening/closing ceremonies.
