Teabag Convention Keynote Speaker Tom Tancredo says Sarah The Teabagger is "not presidential"
Tea Party keynoter says Palin ‘not presidential’

Sarah Palin said she may be eying the presidency in 2012, but it appears even one of her biggest ostensible allies have doubts about whether she can do the job.

Former Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO), who gave the opening speech at the recent Tea Party convention that Palin keynoted, said Sunday that the former vice presidential candidate isn't quite cut out for the highest office in the land.

"I really don’t have this feeling about her as being presidential," Tancredo told the Colorado paper NRC Handelsblad. "I don’t know what it is exactly. I don’t know if the issues really are that difficult for her or not."

In an interview with Fox News that aired just after her Tea Party speech, Palin, now a Fox contributor, signaled in her strongest terms yet an interest in seeking the presidency, saying it would be "absurd" not to consider it.

Tancredo wondered whether it was all for show or whether she really wanted it. "As governor of the state of Alaska, she doesn’t have all that kind of experience," he said. "She can get better. But I don’t know if she is really looking to do it."

1. Stating the obvious is not something Rethugs are usually good at.
Hope it comes back to bite both of them.

2. And yet she would have been a heartbeat away from the Presidency had McCain won.
She wasn't cut out for the VP spot either but none of these blowhards spoke out then. Sarah Palin brings only snarky insults, put downs and non-substantive criticisms to the table. That's all she brings now and that's all she brought then, nothing has changed.

The selection of this airhead for the VP made a mockery of the office of the VP and the Presidency. It made me realize McCain didn't want to win. There were plenty of other accomplished republican women he could have chosen for the ticket but the selection of Palin (with virtually no vetting to boot) made it obvious to me that he wasn't taking the campaign seriously which is an insult to the American people.

Palin not “Presidential”, huh...

For every azz-hat that believes Palin isn’t qualified to be President, I would like to hear their opinion of the current placeholder in the White House...

Tom Tancredo is certainly a loose cannon. His speech at the National Tea Party Convention gave the media the opening it wanted to brand the Tea Party movement as racist.

AND THE WINNER IS...

Maybe we don’t need someone who is Presidential. Maybe we need someone who is American with common sense.

12 months from now, Tancredo can announce, with appropriate fanfare and fluorishes, that he now believes Our Sarah to be the bestest presidemential candidate evah! And everyone will rejoice and Sarah can become the first president by acclamation.
