Broken CNN: Government Bashing for Ratings and Profits |
|
CNN is running a series "all this week" called "Broken Government." They would have us believe that the government is broken. It's not.
It doesn't take a special or a series to point out the abuse of the filibuster or the widespread hypocrisy of the Republican party in voting against Democratic legislation (because it's Democratic) and then later back home taking credit for it. That is about all that's "broken" about the government. Otherwise it is working pretty much as designed.

7. Oh, it is broken but not for the reasons they list. They had Ron Paul on and placed |
|
blame on too much "partisanship". No, just one side is being partisan.

3. I get so upset when they say broken GOVERNMENT |

THE SENATE THE SENATE THE SENATE IS BROKEN. The House does it's job. It passes bills, it goes forth, and debates honestly. The republicans sometimes go with them but the HOUSE if it is needed acts alone.
The senate should try to act as responsible as the HOUSE and we might be moving forward. Why do the senators think they individually are THE ONLY PERSON who can be in charge?

6. It's "not broken" if you're a bankster or a Saudi Prince. For the rest of us, it is indeed broken. |

9. File that under: "It's not doing what I want it to do." |
|
That doesn't mean it's broken.
