CBO's Doug Elmendorf speaks about the next ten years and the deficit.

Just watched this today. It is a few months old, but relevant today, fascinating and chilling. The question and answer session is especially interesting, because officials at CBO don't usually get a chance to proffer or even imply what they are personally thinking.

To be totally candid, I trust the CBO more than I trust even our own representatives to be honest about our economic situation going forward over the next decade.

This is one hour of video I would highly recommend.
