Chris Hayes: The Republicans think you should get off your fat ass and find a job
Edited on Mon Mar-01-10 08:29 PM by eleny
He just said this on Countdown to Lawrence O'Donnell regarding people on Unemployment.

I always knew I liked him but do even more tonight.

Edited to add: Hayes works at The Nation magazine and often appears on MSNBC as a commentator. :hi:

9. That's it the GOP crooks ship jobs overseas, enjoy the profits from slave labor and then
want those who can't find employment because of the economy they created to just disappear. F-ers!

3. If the Democrats do not use some of these soundbites for November,
it's time to found and support a third party.

They should be run every fifteen minutes before the election, all over the country. There are some truly desperate people in our neighborhoods; the long-term unemployed, people who are underemployed, people who are beset with crushing medical bills. If the Democratic Party can't offer an answer -- or even a bit of relief -- to these people, they deserve what will happen to them at the polls.

BTW, I've been voting a straight Democratic ticket since 1979. I've held office. It's time for those who are in politics for power and money to get the hell out, and elect some folks who are willing to take on serious problems and work till they find realistic solutions for those problems, on behalf of the American people.

4. You can have all the initiative and resourcefulness in the world
but if what you want does not exist, you're just banging your head against a wall.

8. Of course they do...a democratic fought for program - just like Social Security that
Edited on Mon Mar-01-10 10:34 PM by GreenTea
republicans always trash & want to destroy and then privatize - a give away republicans want to give to corporations so the corporations can file bankruptcy at anytime when they choose to steal the huge pensions funds they'll have, in place of a long gone SS - while the same corporations will also be receiving bailouts & subsidies from our tax dollars....

Amazing is the republicans duplicity.

Dems fought for these programs that republican hate, never supported and constantly trying to destroy....what the fuck is wrong with republicans who use these programs and vote against their own interest....is the republican base really that stupid & ignorant, do they really have low IQ as reported....It must be true.....I guess hatred & racism supersedes all with their little minds!
