Later, Leno
You're as lame as ever.

I'm going to History for American Pickers and Pawn Stars reruns.

5. Nah, Bruce stole him right back during the overwhelming majority of his concerts
And the Max Weinberg 7 was THE BEST Late night Band ever. I always liked Conan, just never cared for his show.

I know it goes against my demographic completely, but I found Leno's monologues to be pretty funny and on average his other segments pretty funny. I tend to avoid interviews everywhere.

11. Emeril on the Food Network has a great band too
Not a Marsalis brother in it, but smooth as baby diarrhea. Leno got too careful for me. I like comedy network now. Even Letterman was turning me off with his political comments, until he started bashing Bush finally.

7. the righteous rage against leno a few weeks back was so hilarious that I've pretty much got to watch
I remember seeing posters claim that watching or liking Leno makes one a bad person

But the truth is, while I don't mind Leno (or Conan), the Tonight Show is on opposite Colbert for me, so it's unlikely I'll make a habit of it :)

A few years back I'd ah said bet you can't hold on to my pant pockets all day but I can't say that anymore:rofl:
getting old is a bi'ouch but I like it better than the alternative. :hi:

Forgetful too: If I was up at that time of the night and with the lineup we have here I'd be switching back and forth between Leno and Letterman. I like both of them. I like Leno's style and I like Lettermans balsiness. How else can I say that?

27. I'm not really talking about age. Letterman is no spring chicken, but he's adaptive and funny.
Leno is a boring cornball.

Carson didn't want him to take over.

18. Pawn Stars has to be one of the best things on tv these days
I love the old man. I think the thing I love best about that show is that they really know their stuff. Rick gave the kid a quiz once to make sure he knew what he was buying. If I ever head back to Vegas, I'm definitely going to their shop.

29. I like watching it too just to learn about different things, but
I have a huge problem with the pricing. NO MATTER what number someone throws out, even if it's hugely fair to the pawn shop buyers, they will STILL low ball them. Every. Single. Time.

31. And they know the full retail price of everything in the case.
I was shopping for used tools a few years ago and found it was far less $$$ to buy new - with a warranty, to boot.

I had Letterman on until midnight, then switched to South Park, though it's just background noise since I'm reading online.

17. It must be that there is nobody else in the entire country that is capable of hosting
that program. It's like the movies & music, we are treated to the same 20 or so acts again & again to the exclusion of anyone else for years, until they slowly become re-runs & oldies.

24. Which comedian you like is subjective. But, politicaly leno is much more
conservative than Letterman in his humor. But, we can all change the channel and put on who we like. Letterman did spend MONTHS bashing mccain and palin daily before the election last November and that couldn't have hurt Obama. I'm hoping Letterman will bash the GOP in his interview with romney. But, I'm guessing he won't. Curious to see what he does.
