41. Now THAT'S Something to Look At!!! And I Don't Know What A Wheehaw
is, but if it's good for "we the people" then trot 'er on out!! Great picture, love it... but even though I'm a female who likes a good looking man, I'm MORE about what THAT MAN HAS TO SAY!

And it's a shame the way Howard Dean has been treated for faaaaaaaaar too many years! And especially the way those in D.C. have "decided" he's not one of them for the most part!!

WE LOVE HIM, too many of THEM don't GET IT!!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW! Onward Howard!

65. A Compliment For SURE! I Too Am SICK & TIRED Of "Pretty Speeches"
and words strung together in a way that "seems" to MEAN SOMETHING, when all they are is WORDS!

ACTION is what I've been saying for so long now it seems almost silly to say it again! Grown men & women who were elected BY THE PEOPLE, to do the People's Work, acting like nothing more than silly children having tantrums all the time have made me want to totally GIVE UP!

And I'm talking about almost EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN D.C.! At least that's how it looks to me! I don't have answers to most of my questions, what's more I don't know what questions to ask anymore! Why? Because I'm sure I'm going to get some spin or duck or actually crap thrown back into my face!

My country, right or wrong?? Sorry, ain't working for me and hasn't been for a very long time! But the cherry on top of all this blather is this...THEY STILL WANT US TO VOTE FOR THEM!!

Hypocrites with tails between their legs... that's most Democrats! Liar, Liar, pants on Fire... that's Repukes to me!

I'm just one person who is boiling mad and may be saying things because of how I feel. Things that sound crazy and cynical to many. Words I may have to eat some day, but for today and this time right now, it's all I've got! More words, no action because I don't know what more action I can take!

And yes, I've done my duties... worked hard, called, written, signed petitions, joined groups that I felt I could fight back with, lost sleep, gotten stressed out, worried myself sick for all of us, I could go on but that brick wall keeps popping up. It SERIOUSLY needs to stop sometime, doesn't it??

76. Yes, I feel used and abused at this point,
and I'm sick of the my country right or blah blah blah, or the love it or leave it crowd.

In fact it has finally come to that, I am finally listening to that oh so loud love it or leave it crowd and am starting to explore my options for leaving it. I'm not sure yet if I can escape this insanity, but it has become an acceptable option in my personal thinking.

I'm disgusted that it has come to that point for me.

31. Actually not - even though the twice the Iowa caucus goers selected
Kerry vs Dean. The fact is that Kerry, alone had received very little positive media in 2003 - Dean was a favorite of a lafge number of media people and the media adored John Edwards (something they have conveniently forgotten).

36. HAHAHAHAH....the media thought they had Kerry drummed out of the race by Dec2003.
Edited on Tue Mar-02-10 05:55 PM by blm
The media HATED Kerry - he was everything they were not - heroic, accomplished, smart, and with an enduring integrity for honest service to this nation's people.

Your revisionism is ABSURD.

Kerry has LONG been a target for corpmedia, since his BCCI investigations took aim at established power in DC. Close attention at the time of the primaries would have shown you that Dean was assigned a press plane in June2003, shortly after Kerry targeted FCC ruling - certainly part of corpmedia's effort to keep Kerry campaign off the radar.

KERRY SEEKS TO REVERSE FCC’S “WRONGHEADED VOTE”

COMMISSION DECISION MAY VIOLATE LAWS PROTECTING SMALL BUSINESSES; KERRY TO FILE RESOLUTION OF DISAPPROVAL

WASHINGTON, DC – Senator John Kerry today announced plans to file a “Resolution of Disapproval” as a means to overturn today’s decision by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to raise media ownership caps and loosen various media cross-ownership rules.

Kerry will soon introduce the resolution seeking to reverse this action under the Congressional Review Act and Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act on the grounds that the decision may violate the laws intended to protect America’s small businesses and allow them an opportunity to compete.

As Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Kerry expressed concern that the FCC’s decision will hurt localism, reduce diversity, and will allow media monopolies to flourish. This raises significant concerns about the potential negative impacts the decision will have on small businesses and their ability to compete in today’s media marketplace.

In a statement released earlier today regarding the FCC’s decision, Kerry said:

“Nothing is more important in a democracy than public access to debates and information, which lift up our discourse and give Americans an opportunity to make honest informed choices. Today’s wrongheaded vote by the Republican members of the FCC to loosen media ownership rules shows a dangerous indifference to the consolidation of power in the hands of a few large entities rather than promoting diversity and independence at the local level. The FCC should do more than rubber stamp the business plans of narrow economic interests.

“Today’s vote is a complete dereliction of duty. The Commissioners are well aware that these rules greatly influence the competitive structure of the industry and protect the public’s access to multiple sources of information and media. It is the Commission’s responsibility to ensure that the rules serve our national goals of diversity, competition, and localism in media. With today’s vote, they shirked that responsibility and have dismissed any serious discussion about the impact of media consolidation on our own democracy.”

39. Corpmedia used that scream to claim that Dean imploded when they were covering their own asses
for claiming for months that Kerry's campaign was dead when the numbers on the ground since Nov2003 showed Kerry gaining ground at the same time Dean was losing ground.

Media set about tearing down Dean post-Iowa as the diversion for their failure to report the primaries truthfully.

77. I think they were more in ass-saving mode and Dean's 'scream' provided cover
for their incompetence as long as they kept the public focused on it. That also allowed them to stay quiet about how and why Kerry DID win Iowa. It was a far more compelling story than any scream, but, why would corpmedia allow public to get to know Kerry for real - he was TRULY public enemy number one to them and to their fascist masters.

13. You'd be more likely to find him in some hotel lobby late at night playing guitar with friends
I know. Been there and done that with him.

Howard is firmly convinced that it is time for a younger generation to take over, and wishes there
were more 30-somethings and 40-somethings out there taking over the reins. His hope was for Obama
to be the beginning of this, and for many more to take up the cause. He says he'll always be out
there to speak out, but is not interested in running for office again, even though he knows and
appreciates his core of supporters.
