Do politicians realize that most people hate them? And do they care?

I suppose that what we are witnessing is the cushioning brought about by excesses of money. I guess it is easy to totally lose your moral compass and not give a damn if you are loathed if you can build a false reality around you.

It is certainly not a very easy job. But most of them are doing an absolutely, horrifically bad job at it!
