Bank bailout part deux - The Bunning Assist
I'll keep hammering on this aspect of the Bunning stunt, which is how there are going to be very real winners in the financial sector. Even a delay of 1 day would amount to a huge windfall for anyone who provides the "bridge financing" to all of those who are affected by a temporary halt in a check (whether by UI or DOT or whatever).

Everybody knows that the bill will eventually get passed and will be retroactive. And so, unless you are directly affected, you probably don't think too much about what Bunning is doing and what the consequences will be.

But mark my words, financial institutions will gain mightily by his stunt.
