The culmination of a corporatist government aiding and abetting the Wall Street banksters and
fraudsters, in addition to the obvious poor economy, lower standard of living, continuing high unemployment, and increased poverty, will almost surely bring about a significant spike in crime, incarceration, severe public health issues, and infant mortality, all pointing to a significant decrease in national longevity. These are but a few of the prices of living in a right-wing society wherein an increasing proportion of the nation's wealth accumulates among a precious few by design and malice of forethought.

2. how? by voting or maybe protesting
I don't think they care anymore. It's survival of the richest, and they have the private security guards to protect them. they also have the police and anyone else affiliated with law enforcement.

I also don't think they have any qualms about setting us in our places anymore.

the Courage Campaign in CA. One of the big things to do is to get out the youth vote that voted for Obama in 2008 and make sure they vote in 2010.

All I know is that I can't make much of a difference with my one vote but I can work to have a larger impact on things. Of course there is no guarantee that things will change for the better but if we don't work at it there is a guarantee that they won't change.
