3. It's going to be tough to oust Rick "the dick" Perry
Texas has fared far better than most states in the current economic climate. In fact, Texas is one of the few states to have experienced a net gain in jobs over the past 2 or 3 years. Say what you want, but that's the kind of statistic that makes the average voter pay attention. Unfortunately, he's a dyed-in-the-wool repug.

9. Exactly, there's still a lot to count.
Bill White's kicking ass as I expected. I hope Gilbert holds on to his big lead over Kinky. The last thing we need is freaking Kinky on the ballot. :puke:

12. I voted in the republican primary
yeah, those propositions at the end of the ballot make me feel dirty: 1. lower taxes, 2. saying God in public, 3. sonograms before abortions, 4. voter id. Needless to say, I voted no to all of them.
