4. I don't agree with what he says about organized religion |

in the sense that if you really look beneath the surface, there's as much delightful quirkiness in the way people practice their religions, if they have one, as in anything else. The trouble is, he looks in from the outside, and sees groups of people carrying out a ritual en masse, and all he sees is a blob of sameness based on presumed collective beliefs he finds personally to be freaky--not the peculiarity of the individual worshiper.
But, aside from his lacking the insight to value that, I love this column. He is so genius.
