5. Cornyn-what a shock... |
|
"I admire the courage of the junior senator from Kentucky, Senator Bunning. It’s not fun to be accused of having no compassion for the people who are out of work, the people for who these benefits should be forthcoming, and I believe will be forthcoming. But somebody has to stand up, finally, and say enough is enough, no more inter-generational theft from our children and grandchildren by not meeting our responsibilities today. And that’s what I interpret him to have done."

7. too bad he missed that point 5 years ago! |

A number of the states in the OP list are nothing but working class - Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina. Why are working class people voting totally opposite of their own interests? What the f*ck IS wrong w/ Kansas?

9. Wow, Crapo certainly is aptly named. |
|
As far as the rest of the repigs go, it just figures. And they'll all get re-elected because their backward supporters just love embryos.

15. It's pronounced CRAY-po |
|
But I'm amazed at how many people here in Boise routinely use the alternative pronunciation whenever his name comes up in conversation.

14. I guess Kyl and Inhofe must have been under the weather that day? |
|
If they were actually around to cast "yes" votes, then someone surely must have doctored their martinis.

But he is up for re-election this year so that's probably the reason why.
