Poll question: "How would you describe your political ideology?"
I got this as a Zogby question. How would you rate yourself?

On a scale of 1 to 9 with 1 being extremely liberal and 9 being extremely conservative, how would you describe your political ideology?

4. Socially progressive, fiscally conservative.
Unfortunately the govt in my country, Canada, is socially regressive, and fiscally berserk.

13. Even Michelle Jean reading the throne speech couldn't make it sound
palitable. I'm going to be so pissed off and so are canadians if Harper doesn't renew her governor generalship. I think the whole country will see harper for the weak (I want to be the star) leader that he is if he lets such a wonderful governor general go.

18. No, it was an hour of rubbish.
The budget will be as well by the sound of it.

If Canadians get fed up enough, they'll chuck Harper out, and I'll cheer. :)

11. I don't fit. I believe in universal child care and health care but I also
don't think the government should go into debt unless it is a recession.

14. The general definition of Liberal from the Oxford Concise dictionary of politics...
in part...

"The belief that it is the aim of politics to preserve individual rights and to maximize freedom of choice."

Well, I'm all over that.

But I have no idea what you or Zogby mean by liberal.

What policies would make me a 1, a 2, or a 9?

23. Depends on who is judging
Conservatives put me at a 2 or 3: atheist, pro abortion, pro gay marriage, pro-choice for ALL and pro individual rights for ALL, I vote for the person not the party
and liberals put me at a 9: pro 2nd Amendment, pro low taxes, pro military, pro-choice for ALL and pro individual rights for ALL, I vote for the person not the party
