Marine's death came at hands of "Doped-Up Opium-Fueled" Private Contractors

Marine reportedly killed by opium-fueled private contractors
Pentagon originally said Marine killed in combat

The Pentagon confirmed late Tuesday that it is investigating the death of a 24-year-old Indiana Marine after he was shot to death in Afghanistan, allegedly by several US-paid private security contractors.

The contractors, according to a fellow Marine in Afghanistan who communicated with an investigative reporter in Chicago, were Afghanis who were found with "copious amounts of opium" and had been paid by the United States as guards.

........................

A soldier is killed. A clerk types in their name. "____________ died while supporting combat operations."

There is no Pentagon form titled "What Really Happened."

If there was, in the case of the metro Chicago Marine, this is how it would read:

"Lance Cpl. Joshua H. Birchfield, 24, of Westville, Ind., died Feb. 19 after being shot in the head by a doped-up private security contractor hired by the U.S. government. We're sorry we hired the guy, obviously didn't check him out very well and we are devastated that we didn't do a better job protecting our own."

1. No, not our star-spangled, freckle-faced all American mercenaries!
Well, stern letters are going to be written about this, let me tell you! The High Church of Redemptive Violence cannot allow its pristine reputation to be soiled by such reckless behavior.

3. 1. What is the contractor's name? 2. Is he still employed? 3 Where does he live?
I hate when they talk about the atrocities committed by these private contractor or cia thugs but never mention any of this.

5. This has to stop...American soldiers should be doing those jobs.
Is our government suggesting American soldiers are not qualified or able to provide security? Or that it saves America money and prestige? Stop this outsourcing of our Military's Security...

If America could handle the truth, there would be such a form.

9. contractors are also pumped up on Steroids. Not sure if
steroid abuse has filtered down to Afghan mercenaries. Steroids can cause aggressive behavior.

was make me feel like I weighed a million pounds. Its like pot to the 100th degree.

12. Opium doesn't make you violent while high. Cocaine, alcohol,
and Steroids will.
